Yet another Adviser firm has announced that it has been acquired by a larger rival, with Personal Touch being snapped up by a larger mortgage broker. This follows news of other takeovers in the sector, including Sanlam’s of Tavistock. Are you concerned?
When a network is taken over, there can be a lot of uncertainty. Advisers often relay to me their concerns and discontents about joining a larger, more impersonal network. Many will be concerned that their views will no longer be taken into consideration. Will you be able to offer whole of market advice, or will you be restricted?
A takeover is a good time for Advisers to consider the benefits of their firm. Is your network mainly providing what you want or what they want? Are you consulted and agreeable with all the things they introduce? Does my network help me give the best advice to my customers?
If any of these ring true for you, why be compromised or restricted?
Julian Harris networks are independently owned and financially sound. This keeps our offering to our members competitive and member-focused. We have absolutely no intention to ever sell out. Our members have my assurance that this kind of disruption and uncertainty will never affect their business.
We are very proud that our members offer completely independent, whole of market advice. This helps to ensure that the advice our network members offer clients is the best advice.
We listen to our advisers and take them seriously. At Julian Harris, there is ample opportunity to give feedback on your experiences. I speak directly to advisers daily and always consider their feedback and suggestions.
Our Quarterly Adviser Meetings offer training and industry updates. We know that the advising profession can be solitary at times, that is why our meetings offer Advisers the chance to network with colleagues over lunch.
We make the transition to our network easy. We will do all the work to novate your agencies over. It’s as easy as changing bank accounts.
This is all in addition to our low charges and no monthly fees.
If you think that your current network isn’t giving you the very best services, don’t procrastinate. Get in touch today.
